From carrying babies in my belly, to researching and writing articles with babies in my lap, I developed a passion for breastfeeding education after my son, Gunnar, was born. I thought breastfeeding would come easy to us, but quickly learned that it takes practice and support.
In 2018, after he was born, I decided to start helping moms with breastfeeding and nutrition support, and in 2021, after my daughter was born, I left the corporate marketing world completely to focus on expanding my products and services so I could help more moms reach their goals.
I’m passionate about natural health and wellness because I used a paleo diet to heal my Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome which helped me get pregnant with my son. Using a similar approach, I teach mamas how to incorporate healthy eating into their life while breastfeeding.
Someone once told me I’d drop all the weight while breastfeeding and have plenty of energy to chase my toddler around and go for a walk. But, truth be told, I felt so exhausted all the time I couldn’t even go for a walk.
After my son was born, I was looking for a solution that was going to magically take me out of feeling run down all the time.
Then, I discovered how to find the energy to do the cleaning and cooking, manage a growing business, raise my spirited kids (and 3 dogs), and be the energetic wife that could stay up after the baby went to bed, all while ditching the magic pill mindset.
And, I even dropped 50 pounds while breastfeeding each of my kids to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight (and then some).
Now as a Certified Health Coach and Certified Lactation Counselor for moms, I can show you how to regain your energy, and confidence by making easy lifestyle and food choices.
I offer two breastfeeding nutrition programs:
Lean Mamas Postpartum Weight Loss Program for Breastfeeding Moms using whole foods and a balanced plate approach to eating and
Keto While Breastfeeding QuickStart Program using whole foods with a modified keto approach.
Specifically for breastfeeding moms, I teach you how to get back to your pre-pregnancy weight– from mindset to proper nutrition–all while breastfeeding, so you can feel confident, have energy, and provide the best care for you, your baby, and family.
I have an amazing husband, Jeff, and two awesome kids, my son Gunnar (4) and daughter Miriam (1). When I’m not helping mamas reach their health and breastfeeding goals, I’m helping my husband in his chiropractic clinics, spending time with family, traveling, cooking, arts and crafts, walking, and playing with our fur babies.
